Carole Tisserand-Barthole holds a BA degree in classic literature at Sorbonne University and a Master degree in Information Science at the ENSSIB (Higher National School of Information Science and Libraries). As part of her Master degree she also studied in the School of Library and Information Science in Montreal (Université de Montréal), Canada.
She is Chief Editor of Bases Publications, which publishes two famous newsletters : Bases and Netsources.
She joined FLA Consultants in 2008 and since 2011 she is located in London. Carole deals with competitive, strategic, marketing watch and information research enquiries (business, market, biography/interviews, news).
At Fla Consultants, she is also Monitoring and Research specialist and responsible for the company’s social media presence. She shares daily information about databases, monitoring tools, interesting blog articles, scientific information, Web 2.0 tools, events, etc on Twitter (@Flateam), Facebook, Netvibes, Diigo and LinkedIn.
